We are continuing our new web-series hosted by NBA All-Star Dominique Wilkins. This episode features an interview with filmmaker and activist Bill Duke.

Bill Duke, filmmaker, actor and activist, is our latest guest in our web-series “The Dominant Ones”. In our seventh episode, Dominique and Bill Duke sit down and talk about the difficulties of the era in which they grew up in and how they succeeded against the odds. Bill Duke shares with Dominique the struggles of being a black actor during a racist era, where the odds of succeeding were stacked against you. He goes on to describe his early roles, how those roles helped define the rest of his career and being the first black director in the TV show, Dallas.
