When you think of Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow, you think passion. One of the world’s most popular and recognizable brands, their performances are celebrated by its legions of tifosi, the Italian word for devoted fans of sports.

The Scuderia Ferrari tifosi are some of the most intensely dedicated in the world of sport.

Watch any Grand Prix and more than likely you’ll see a huge Ferrari flag in the grandstands, surrounded by an expanse of red-garbed fanatics. The devotion of these fans goes beyond simple enthusiasm.

Being so passionate about the brand is what I think separates Ferrari from any other racing team.

– Sebastian Vettel - Four-time FI World Champion and Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow driver

“To share a good team spirit is essential, otherwise I think you won’t be able to succeed. I think you need to enjoy what you do, you need to love what you do, and be happy to work with the others.”

Team spirit and cooperation are essential to the process of continual improvement and ongoing development. “You can’t do it on your own, and they can’t do it by themselves. You need each other; every single man and woman had a job to do and a role to fulfil. It’s only together that you’ll be able to achieve your goals.”

Team Principal Mattia Binotto also firmly believes in this sentiment.

The team culture in Ferrari is passion first

We have people who are not working for Ferrari, they are living Ferrari. To live in Ferrari you really need to be boosted by your passion. It’s a team spirit, being passionate, being part of Ferrari.

“Today if you want to succeed, if you want to be the best, you need your passion to boost you. We are a limited number of people, and if each single person will somehow deliver more than 100 percent, you will achieve more than 100 percent. That’s where passion is moving you. Here in Ferrari we have such a passion that we are all certainly delivering more than 100 percent.”

For Vettel, team spirit is evident in the good times and the bad.

“Day in, day out, you’re working on a project. The project is the Formula 1 car, to make it as fast as possible. I think the whole team puts its heart in, trying to achieve that. In Formula 1 things move quickly, so if you have a problem you need to solve it quickly as well. You need each other.”

For Charles Leclerc, a graduate of the Ferrari Diver Academy and now Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow driver, the passion is personal.

“It’s a dream come true. Since childhood I have always been looking at the red car, and to be finally one of their drivers is something that I never expected. It’s a dream come true since I was a child. In the end, it’s what I wanted to achieve in life and I’m extremely happy to be here.”
