Eric shares what it takes to stay at the top
“I knew I was going to put in the work to try and get to where I need to be” – Eric Bledsoe
Eric Bledsoe, current NBA player for the Milwaukee Bucks, is our latest guest in our web-series “The Dominant Ones”. In our fifth episode, Dominique Wilkins sits down with Bledsoe to talk about basketball, Eric’s career so far and his goals for the future.
Eric Bledsoe shares his story of how his childhood struggles are a driving force for him to work hard and push himself further. Starting from a humble background, Eric recalls how he started playing basketball, all the work he put into it as he worked his way into the NBA, and how he managed to stay positive and motivated after a knee injury which left him out of the squad for 8 months.
Join us in this episode of the Dominant Ones as the two basketball players talk about the physical and mental state required to stay at the top, what it feels like to be traded to a new team and adapting to a new environment and all the hard work that goes behind chasing your dreams.
